What We Offer

We work to create an environment where everyone is respected, accepted and supported in the unique way that allows their best qualities and skills to shine.

We assist by providing strategies for regulation, socialization, life-skills management, caretaker coaching, and more. We work with teenagers and adults. Let us help you connect with one of our special education tutors / community support workers who meets your needs and is available to see you, online or in-person.

Targeted to clients age 4-25

Achievement Testing

Kaufman Test of Educational Achievement Third Edition (KTEA™-3) is an individually administered battery that provides in-depth assessment and evaluation in reading, written language, oral language, and mathematics. It is is designed to assess academic achievement for individuals aged 4 years and 6 months through 25 years and 11 months.

Using the KTEA-3 assessment tool we can assess what your child has learned so far. This does not predict learning outcomes in the future, but rather helps to understand exactly what academic skills have been gained. This information can be used to narrow the focus of future and current supports.

Client Feedback

  • I have known Chris for several years now. His ability to connect, build trust and make things fun and engaging are only a few of the reasons I chose him to work with both my children – they hated school and struggled. Now they have experienced success and have a better relationship with learning. His background and experience makes him an asset especially for children with disabilities or unique learning challenges.

  • Chris has been a game changer for our son, both academically, and socially. His confidence has soared with Chris’s support. Chris has worked with our son for several years, and supported him remotely for a year while we lived overseas. Chris has worked closely with us and the school to ensure that home tutoring is well coordinated with formal schooling. Our son looks forward to his sessions with Chris – a bonus to tutoring has been Chris’s companionship and friendship.

  • My son Scotty has been working with Chris since he graduated from High School 2 years ago. We first got to know Chris when he was Scotty's teacher / therapist in Toronto over a decade ago. Then and most certainly now, Chris offers incredible consultation and hands-on work with Scotty. He provides thoughtful and experienced planning to meet Scotty's needs and is flexible if/when changes need to be made. Scotty has made wonderful strides in communication, life skills development and in his self confidence with Chris. Scotty looks forward to his time with "Mr. C" and I know their time together is fun, productive and meaningful.

  • Chris has been working with our adult son for several years now. They have developed a wonderful relationship as they explore our community together. We have seen our son's confidence and social skills flourish as Chris works on these skills in a fun and engaging way and my son doesn't even know it's happening! We look forward to seeing their relationship continue into the years ahead and will enjoy watching our son thrive independently in his community with the wonderful support he receives from Chris. Thank you, Chris!
